Project Update: January 2019

Motorists are reminded to reconsider their travel through Bibra Lake, with Bibra Drive and Progress Drive both closed for all of January. The Metropolitan Road Improvement Alliance contractors are working extended hours over four weeks to build a roundabout on Bibra Drive near Farrington Road. This will allow major roadworks to be undertaken during school holidays and outside peak commuter times.

Bibra Drive is closed from Hope Road to south of the Lakeside Recreation Centre during construction of a roundabout as part of the Murdoch Drive Connection.

A detour is available along Hope Road to Progress Drive to Gwilliam Drive to North Lake Road.

Progress Drive is closed at the Hope Road roundabout.

Access for cyclists and access to the recreation centre remains open.
