The City of Cockburn is seeking community feedback on an amendment to the Structure Plan for Lots 2, 7, 30 and 31 Muriel Court Cockburn Central.

This is part of the Cockburn Central/Muriel Court Structure Plan – Amendment 7

The amendment proposes to modify the existing plan to accommodate medium density townhouses, laneways and slight changes to densities in specific places from R60 to R80.

STRUCTURE PLAN AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION

Plans and documents explaining the proposed Structure Plan are available to view at the right of this page or at the City of Cockburn Administration Building, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood during office hours (Monday to Fridays, 8.30am – 4.30pm) up to and including 26 November 2018.

Submissions can be lodged online below, by email to customer@cockburn.wa.gov.au or in writing to the CEO on or before 4pm 26 November 2018.

Submissions should include the Structure Plan name, the property affected and details of the submission. They can be addressed to:

Please note: The structure plan amendment is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal. The advertising of the amendment does not indicate any formal support of the proposal by the City of Cockburn or the Western Australian Planning Commission.

Please be aware that should you make a submission, Council requires a Schedule of Submissions to be prepared which includes a submitter’s name and address. This forms part of a Council Agenda report, which is available for public viewing (published in hard copy and on the City’s website). Please clearly state in your submission if you want your details to be kept confidential.
