Background

The City of Cockburn is advertising proposed Scheme Amendment No. 184 to Town Planning Scheme No. 3. Submissions on this proposal are invited from the community.

About this Amendment

Amendment No. 184 to Town Planning Scheme No. 3 (TPS 3) proposes Modifying Table 10 – Development Contribution Plans of the Scheme Text by extending the ‘Period of Operation’ for Development Contribution Plans (DCP) 9 and 10 from 30 ‘June 2027’ to ’30 June 2031’.

Adjustment to the ‘period of operation’ is necessary to reflect the expected timeframes for the delivery of infrastructure and the payment of contributions.

What will happen next?

After the advertising period, the City’s Technical Officers will review the submissions received and make a recommendation for Council to consider, after which the amendment will be sent to the Western Australian Planning Commission for consideration and determination by the Minister for Planning.
