Background

The City of Cockburn wants to hear about your experiences of public art, and your ideas and preferences for the City's public art future. Your input will help to shape our new Public Art Strategy for the next five years. This Strategy will identify locations for future artworks, and key themes and stories to explore through public art.

Public art is for everyone. It's the sculptures, murals, and creative things you see outside, in parks or on the streets. It's there for everyone to enjoy, encourage discussions, reflect our community's culture and identity, and enhance our quality of life while creating a sense of place.

What we want to know

We want to hear from you how you interact with public art. What sort of art do you find most engaging? What is important to you to see included in future public art? We want to hear from you about what sort of art you think represents the City. We want to know what the community thinks is important to consider in the commissioning of future public art pieces - what materials do you engage with, what themes you wish to see represented in art and where in the city you would like to see new public art pieces.
