In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995 and the Council’s intention to continue levying differential rates for the 2020-21 Financial Year, the City is required to publish its Objects and Reasons for implementing the differential rates categories.

These amounts aim to ensure a zero average increase in rates over those in FY 2019–20 for all rateable categories.

Submissions

Submissions made by an elector or a ratepayer in respect of the proposed rates, and any related matter, must be received by 4pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020. All submissions are required to be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer.
