Thank you for having your say on what should be included in our 2021 sustainable living events program.

Over 500 people visited the project page, and more than 230 people gave feedback.

    What You Told Us

You would like the program to include:

    • Hands-on workshops and experience-based events
    • More family-friendly events
    • Events held at a range of times during weekends

The topics you are most interested in learning about are:

    • Food gardening
    • Native plants and animals
    • Water-wise gardening
    • Aboriginal knowledge sharing
    • Upcycling

You suggested a range of great ideas for future workshops, including making DIY household products, growing and cooking with native plants, urban foraging, composting, and how to reduce waste.

There was lots of great feedback about our past popular events like the Omeo snorkelling tour.

    Next Steps

We are have used your input to develop our 2021 sustainable living events program. For the full list of upcoming events visit the City of Cockburn website. We look forward to seeing you there.
