Pool Inspection Bookings Go Digital

In mid-2024, we engaged with the community to better understand experiences with the City’s swimming pool inspection process.

We reached out to everyone who had an inspection since January 2023, contacting them via email or letter. Nearly 600 people visited our engagement page, and over 100 shared their thoughts on what worked well and what could be improved.

Many people praised our friendly and knowledgeable inspectors — feedback we were proud to pass on to our hardworking team.

One key challenges identified by around 20% of respondents was the current booking system, where the City assigns a date and time for inspections. People told us this process could be difficult and time-consuming.

We're pleased to share that we’re implementing a new digital booking system, allowing you to select a time that suits you. We hope this change will make the process easier for our community and more efficient for our team.
