Treeby Community Centre

Consultation has concluded

April 2019

We've reached the first milestone for the new Community and Sports Centre in Treeby by completing the first stage of consultation on its design. See the consultation report here which summarises all of the community feedback that we have received so far.

COMMUNITY AND SPORTS CENTRE

Based in the town centre on the corner of Torwood Avenue and Clementine Boulevard, the community centre will service the forecast 7,750 plus residents living in Treeby and 3,212 residents in Jandakot.

It will support the development of a vibrant community hub, while providing a flexible and functional community space that offers a variety of different purposes for the community.

The City is working with Stockland, residents groups and the community to design the centre.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR NEW RESERVE

The City sought Expressions of Interest by 29 March 2019 from new or existing clubs to be located at the reserve. The reserve is currently being constructed by the developer Stockland, with turf being laid. It will be ready for community use in early 2019 and for sporting club use from potentially mid-2019 once the grass has been established.

We look forward to working with you on these projects!
