Background
The City of Cockburn is developing a new Youth Plan in partnership with the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) and we need your insights to help us develop it.
What's a Youth Plan?
A Youth Plan is a guiding document, that helps us plan for the next five years, on how we can best support and empower young people in the City. It aims to understand what's important to young people and identify what we need to do to make the communities where they live, work and play, the best places possible.
To help inform the plan, and to ensure it serves the people it is intended for, YACWA will be engaging with various stakeholders throughout the City, including:
- Young people aged 10 to 25 who live, work, study, volunteer or visit/use groups and services
- Parents and caregivers of young people
- Groups, organisations and businesses that work with or have a connection to young people.
