This application is seeking approval to operate a waste water treatment plant at the above site.
Key aspects of the proposal are as follows:
The site will accept, store, and treat a broad range of bulk and packaged liquid wastes, including the following:

About this application
This application is seeking approval to operate a waste water treatment plant at the above site.
Key aspects of the proposal are as follows:
The site will accept, store, and treat a broad range of bulk and packaged liquid wastes, including the following:
Water based paint washings;
Waste oil and emulsions;
Engine coolants;
Galvanizing liquid wastes;
Concrete truck and batching plant wash down;
Industrial wash water; and,
Drilling mud.
Treatment and storage processes will be undertaken on the site.
Hours of operation proposed are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Some after-hours acceptance of wastes may also occur.
A total of seven (7) staff will attend the site at any one time.

The land use in question is defined under the State government framework as 'Waste Disposal - Industrial Liquid Waste'.
In accordance with the City’s process under legislative requirements formal letters have been sent to all properties within 500m of the subject site. However, any and all interested persons are able to make a submission on the proposal via the submission document located below.
