The City is proposing amendments to Local Planning Policy 1.14 – Waste Management in Multiple Unit Developments (LPP 1.14) and we want to hear your feedback on the proposal. 

About this policy

The objective of LPP 1.14 is to minimise the generation of waste and provide measures for effectively managing and storing waste produced by developments.

The proposed modifications to LPP 1.14 aim to more clearly outline the waste management requirements for different types of developments.

The modifications aim to ensure that waste management is considered at the subdivision stage, which will then allow for more efficient implementation at the development application stage.
