What are the design options?

The City is seeking community feedback on three potential design solutions:

    • Option A - Chain mesh fence (1m high, black powder-coated, with self-closing gates for access)
    • Option B - Limestone wall (0.5m high limestone wall, with partial gaps for access)
    • Option C - Keep as is (existing wooden bollards).

These designs take into consideration pedestrian access from Yangebup Road, which must be retained for people of all abilities.

    What feedback is being sought?

The City is seeking to understand preferences and views on the proposed design options.

    How will feedback be used?

Your feedback will be considered alongside the feedback we receive from  other respondents.

Key findings will be considered against project constraints, such as budget and the need to retain varying levels of pedestrian access, to guide decision-making.

Will the treatments stop unauthorised vehicles completely?

The intent of the treatments is to deter unauthorised vehicle access as far as possible without adversely impacting access for pedestrians of varying needs and abilities.

How is this project being funded?

The City has received funding support from the Western Australian Government.
