Project Update: December 2021

Thank you for your feedback on the draft designs. The project page received 994 visits and design documents were downloaded 586 times.

Just over 60 people provided feedback on the draft design. Key suggestions included:

• Additional storage
• Additional seating
• Improvements to the sun shelter for shade protection
• Parking availability

Feedback has been considered and a detailed design process is underway. The following changes are being considered in the detailed design:

• Addition of bike racks and seating to the landscape design
• Provisions for lockers to be added in the future
• Adaptions to the shelter so that it provides more shade
• Inclusion of additional parking bays nearby the toilet (space will allow for 11 bays), including disabled parking.

Pre-works have commenced on site and construction is expected to start in the second half of 2022, subject to budget allocations.
