Project Update: June 2025

10 June 2025

The City of Cockburn would like to thank the community for participating in the consultation for a potential fenced dog-exercise park at Radonich Park, Beeliar.

In March 2025, The City invited local residents and users of Radonich Park to share their views on the potential construction of a fenced dog-exercise park and the equipment and obstacles they would like to see within the space.

The project page attracted 738 visits, resulting in 118 completed surveys and 12 written responses. 75% of respondents supported the construction of a fenced dog-exercise park. The top four features or equipment the community wanted to see in the space were the Dog Walk (72 votes), Tunnel (52 votes), Bar Jump (44 votes), and A-frame (53 votes).

A decision on the project will be made at the Ordinary Council Meeting tonight (Tuesday 10 June 2025). The project page will be updated following confirmation of the minutes.

A community feedback summary is available in the Document Library on the Comment on Cockburn project page.
