Project Update: May 2026

8 May 2026

The upgrade of the netball courts at Success Regional Sporting and Community Facility is now complete, with the courts resurfaced and new floodlighting officially switched on.

The milestone was marked with a sunset lighting ceremony on Sunday 19 April, celebrating the culmination of several years of planning and advocacy by the Success Netball Association and the community.

All 20 courts are now lit to competition standard, significantly expanding capacity for evening training and competition. The newly resurfaced courts also provide a safer, brighter and more durable surface designed to support year-round use.

Together, these improvements will support the association’s continued growth and enhance the experience for more than 1,500 players who use the facility each season.

The floodlighting was supported by the Western Australian Government’s Club Night Lights program and PlayOn WA.

The works were completed in time for Round 1 of the netball season on Saturday, 2 May, with the upgraded courts now ready to support a big year ahead.
