The City of Cockburn has received a Planning Application for a Retrospective Transport Depot. Submissions on this development application are invited from the community.

About this application

This application is seeking retrospective approval of a change of use to a Transport Depot.

Key aspects of the proposal are as follows:

• Workers will attend the site from 4:00am to collect vehicles. Latest return time of the vehicles is 7:00pm
• A total of 8 staff will be present at the site at all times, with 25 additional staff members attending the property to collect and return vehicles and materials.
• Parking to be contained at the rear of the property for site vehicles and employee vehicles.
  • The vehicles proposed to be parked at the site include the following:
  • Six 9-tonne rigid vehicles;
  • 40 light/passenger vehicles
  • 40 trailers and associated materials including message boards and signage
• The existing dwelling shall be utilised as an office, with storage of other materials contained to existing outbuildings (sheds) on the property.
