  • Most respondents (64%) are somewhat or very satisfied with the draft design.
  • Two respondents are somewhat dissatisfied with the design and a further two feel neutral.
  • While respondents reported positive feedback on all the proposed features in the design, the most liked aspects are the planting, weeding, and improvements to tree health (four responses).
  • Respondents proposed minor changes to the design, the most common being to improve lighting (four responses) and reconsider the shelter (two responses).

Next steps

Consultation has concluded. The City has considered the responses and is now finalising the design and engaging contractors to deliver the works.

The City will commence landscaping and footpath repairs in late May 2023, followed by tree pruning, planting, artwork installation, and shelter construction. The City expects to complete the works by the end of July 2023.
