Background
The policy is being amended to address emerging intersection and road upgrade requirements as a result of planning for the North Lake Road Bridge and Armadale Road deviation project, the Cockburn Central West precinct and emerging developments within the Cockburn Central North precinct.
The objective of the policy is to provide a framework for the planning and development of safe and efficient movement of motorists, public transport users, pedestrians and cyclists, where a coordinated approach to vehicle access is required.
