Check out the draft design

Using community feedback from our workshops, Ecoscape has created a draft design for Radiata Park. The design aims to provide an inclusive space for all, including people aged 15-24.

The draft includes the following key features:

• drinking fountains
• tree planting
• informal seating
• relocation of fitness equipment to shady area
• retention of green space, existing bbqs, shelter and playground
• 3 on 3 basketball court
• junior pump track
• mini plaza-style skate elements
• 'Ninja Warrior' style obstacle course

A number of constraints had to be considered such as the drainage area located in the middle of the park and budget.
