Consultation has concluded

We know that cycling and footpaths are important to the residents of Cockburn. Our annual community surveys show it's in the top eight priorities. So we want to develop a more connected bicycle network, improving links to existing routes and making cycling and walking more accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

In April 2016, the City sought community input into where people liked riding, ideas on how to improve cycling and riding, and challenges they faced. We received more than 1,000 submissions.

Thank you to the 80 people who attended the two cycling and walking forums on 14 September 2016 with guest speaker Dick van den Dool from GTA Consultants.

We're now working on the draft Bike and Walk Plan 2016-2021. The aim is to develop a more connected bicycle and pedestrian network. Thank you for your input.
