The Atwell Community Association has undertaken early engagement with local parents and playground users to gather ideas for the nature play elements. The following priorities emerged:
Nature play elements suitable for young children;
Positioning the play area close to other amenities; and
Fencing around the play area.
Considering these findings, the City will be installing a fenced nature play area targeted to young children (<6 years). The budget allows for the installation of several nature play elements. We need your help to guide the next steps of the design process.
