The City of Cockburn has received a Planning Application for the second stage of the previously approved Mental Health Facility development at 11 and 19 Legacy Way, Cockburn Central. Submissions on the second phase of this development are invited from the community.

About this application

Key aspects of this proposal are as follows: 

  • The Stage 2 building will be attached to the southern side of the main building, with a building footprint of 415m²; 
  • 33-bed accommodation for inpatients;
  • 15 consultation rooms;
  • Two recovery rooms;
  • Additional storerooms, toilets and lounge areas;
  • Reconfigured on-site car parking, including 40 bays on the subject

The City of Cockburn has received a Planning Application for the second stage of the previously approved Mental Health Facility development at 11 and 19 Legacy Way, Cockburn Central. Submissions on the second phase of this development are invited from the community.

About this application

Key aspects of this proposal are as follows: 

  • The Stage 2 building will be attached to the southern side of the main building, with a building footprint of 415m²; 
  • 33-bed accommodation for inpatients;
  • 15 consultation rooms;
  • Two recovery rooms;
  • Additional storerooms, toilets and lounge areas;
  • Reconfigured on-site car parking, including 40 bays on the subject site and 109 bays proposed to be constructed on the adjacent western lot; and 
  • The building is four storeys (plus plant roof), with an overall height of 24.03m.
